This historical temple initially built by king walagamba . There is a cave tunnel besides the temple to Dowa rajamaha viharaya near bandarawela. Then it was refurbished by king sri wikkrama rajasingha.

Nice location. Bit hard to reach since the road is under construction these days. Amazing creation done by ancient Sri Lankans. Bogoda bridge is also in this temple.
