Excellent beach with water sport center.
Sand is soft enough to walk barefooted plus there are not many people around.

Beautiful and (almost) deserted beaches with miles of jungle fringed sand. There are some large and expensive hotels but they are not over intrusive in the views.

Sands shelve fairly gently but there can be fairly strong currents in places and waves can be a bit intimidating at some states of the tide.

One of the best beach in Sri Lanka. Lot of tourists used to spend the time. Such a long beach. Must visit place if you are traveling in Sri Lanka. Best thing is to witness the sunset here.

A beautiful beach that stretches for miles. Its very clean considering that its one of the more popular beaches in Sri Lanka. If you visit make sure that you don't litter!
