  This is an old shop, more than 80 years of service. The founder of the shop is Mohammed Thampi Ahamedlebbai. The short name is called MTA. Now his son, Mr. Mohammed Thampi Ahamed Lebbai Mohammed Buhary is continuing the establishment, named Batticaloa Stores.
  This Store consists and mainly focused on daily essential and customer consumable items. Such as, daily home needs grocery things, kitchen utensils, big pot and pans, grinding stones in many sizes.
  And cooking and other types of oils are available. And also available Mitsui Cement, but not available other building materials.
  This Batticaloa Stores is the leading agent for many consumable and cosmetic items and own Lorries and other vehicles and driving crew.
  Many people are working here as salesmen, cashier, loader and labor. These people are the soul of this stall consists of three long big rooms and first floor with as the same sized as ground floor is the store.
  I forgot to say that they own big Asoke Laylen lorries for carry goods for transportation service not only for their goods but goods of other shops in Kinniya town. The transportation service take place between Colombo and Kinniya. They charge for the transportation service in a normal manner. It's good service.
  The owner gives monetary help for poor people in festive seasons. That's why, I think he is a candidate in the local government election. His son also doing the same but he is also a candidate in another party.
  All in all the Batticaloa stores set foot in many ways in the community.
  The proprietor got many businesses Awards from many companies.
