The light house is situated on a very safe protected area to swim in. Has a lagoon before the ocean. Offers boat tours as well. Guide doesnt speak any english. Good place to stop with kids.

Light house , Children park and Eco park are located closer. Boat service available to Eco park ,Navalady beach side and even to Kallady Bridge and Batticaloa town site seeing. Can see some
migrated birds also sometimes . Good place for children and students as amusements of nature.response / report this review -

You can't go up on the light house & can be seen the proud out side of its.Most important experiance is you can travell to small middle islands called Bone island & Eco park by boat.1200 bugs for 8 peoples as at now.Eco island is free area to spent even a day without any obstacles.You can enjoy yourself playing,cookingetc.

Old light house is renovated recently. You cannot enter it. But you can visit it for free from outside. One of the famous landmarks in Batticaloa

That's amazing palace to spend our leisure time and it's it's situated so many natural things then we will go that boat safari that's awesome to see the beauty of batticalloa by travelling through the river

A great view of sun rise from the top! There is an environmental information centre next to that with a mini collection of publications about the biodiversity of the lagoon. There were couple of rooms enough to accommodate a small group overnight. Had a wonderful boat ride to the bay!
