  In Sri Lanka have domestic airports. anyone can go to the newly places. Batticlo, weerawila, nuwaraeliya , anuradhapura, extra operation doing by cinnamon air, helly tours.

  batticaloa airport was recently renovated and operating for domestic operations. few airlines have shown interest to operate via Batticaloa airport. For the surrounding hotels it’s a good news because it will create the connectivity and it wi help to attract more tourists to areas such as pasikudah and arugambay. Heard that after the renovation fly southern is operating 3 schedule flights per week to Batticaloa airport and one way ticket is around $100. The new air port is small and well equipped airport. Located in a beautiful place.

  Sri Lanka's small private airlines, which operated out of Ratmalana, another airport in Colombo, initially to Jaffna carrying domestic passengers generally went out of business, partly due to competition from the military.
  Domestic demand for air travel to Jaffna also fell after a train service with air conditioned coaches started.
  At the moment Cinnamon Air, using small floatplanes are operating flights to several destinations using lakes and lagoons to land
