The place is 1.4 km from the Main Street of Sigiriya. Walkable. Be aware during the night you might need a trishaw as its home of wild elephants. Locals are willing to help. The place we stayed is quite with cute garden and the room is big and good fan! Bathroom is huge with good hot shower and water pressure. Breakfast is good for what you pay. Wi-Fi is bit slow but as everywhere in Sri Lanka. The owner was so kind to drop us in the bus stop! We really enjoyed our stay!

Amazing place, fue family is really friendly, the breakfast is nice, Hot water, wifi, Bandula family is lovely, and he bring us to the bus station last day for free with his Tuk Tuk. Totally recommended.

Lovely little spot. The breakfast is great. It is a little walk to the town and to Sigiriya, but it is very manageable and there are plenty of tuk-tuks available.
In the morning there are plenty of birds and squirrels to watch while you sit outside.
The downside is the room was slightly damp and as a result there were tonnes of mosquitoes. There is a mosquito net which does help.response / report this review -

Well located, close to Sigiriya mountain. Clean room but it didn't have mosquitos net. The owner gave as insecticide instead. Very good service and breakfast.

Clean, cheap and perfect place. Great host, breakfast. We enjoyed stay and visited Sigiriya, Dambulla, Herbal garden, stone museum and Jeep safari - we saw about 200 elephants!

Can't recommend Bandula enough, what a fantastic stay! It is about 2km from main strip and 1km from the entrance to the rock, but as whoever stays here is likely staying for the rock walking shouldn't be a problem, he also has bikes and a tuk tuk is easy to get. My fiance was unwell and he had no hesitation in taking us to the hospital and waiting with us until we got it sorted, which I am forever grateful to him for. He is super nice and nothing is too much. The rooms are such good value for money, exceptionally clean, a hot shower and a lovely floor flan as well as delicious breakfast, clean sheets and clean mozzie net, I have stayed in some real dives for much more money when travelling so this was a great surprise. We extended our stay by one night we loved it so much!
