  It's been around since time.. very convenient as we didn't have to go to the city to perform our Friday prayers. This is where I learn to read the Arabic alphabet. Back in late 1990's our Sinhalese neighbours use to give a me a bucket during Ramadan to bring them "kanji". lots of memories it's a beautiful mosque in a beautiful village named aruppola.

  It has a 2 decades of history. It is the only mosque in Aruppola and which is helpful to do our prayers n the needful. Before our men had to go to town to do their prayers. And we didn't have a place to learn our religion. I am happy to say I was one of the first students to step in to learning in this mosque in 1993.
