I have been to number of beaches in Sri Lanka.This is the best beach in SL for me.
Really enjoyed the time spent at the beach.

The main beach in the area. It's a bit weird as there are a lot of parts which is pretty empty and you can have to yourself and then there is a small part which is absolutely packed with locals. I could never understand why they didn't spread out more. Close to there is the main surf spot. I don't surf and have no interest in doing it but I enjoyed watching others trying it out. Every sunset I would walk beyond the main surf point and watch the sunset which was always beautiful.

Clean beach. No sunbeds, and this day in end October hardly any people when walking direction south from main point.

Awesome surfing bay. It is however a working,I.e.fishing beach. Interesting to watch the various activities.
