Very lovely place. Rooms are simple, spacious, and clean. Staff are extremely friendly and the service was fantastic. They know the balance between between attentiveness and privacy.
The garden setting is exquisite, with a stunning pool surrounded by lawn and palms. There is a large fishpond where kids are able to feed the fish. The whole location is very tranquil.
The only negative side is that along this part of the coast there are lots of sea urchins lurking in the waters which makes it inadvisable to swim in the ocean.response / report this review -

Divine. Great setting, staff, food and rooms. Sea is tough but only a few mins away to calmer waters if the lovely pool isn't enough for you

Ontzettend mooie plek. De tuin kamers en eet gebouw zijn Heel erg mooi. Het personeel is ontzettend vriendelijk en behulpzaam. De kamers zijn groot met geweldige balkons. Het eten is super. Wij hebben vooral tonijn gegeten, die was echt geweldig. Ook de rijsttafel is zeer aan te raden. Wij zijn er 5 nachten geweest maar we hadden er zo de hele vakantie kunnen zitten

This place can feel quite hemmed in between the busy road and small beach. If you travel during school holidays it's kids playing by the pool vs people on honeymoon since it's quite a small hotel. Enormous rooms with plenty of space and a beautiful pool.
You get your own butler but it means no social get together space really since you eat outside your room on the terrace. Service comes across as a bit bored but nice.
There's a cleaning a lady hanging around all day which can feel a bit intrusive.
Close to beautiful Galle fort and a walkable distance to the lagoon with turtles at Wiyama beach. Perfect place if you just want to lounge around and have good WiFi.response / report this review -
