One of a most magnificent locations in sri lanka.
More than 5 km winding road to the temple.
Steep slopes and sharp bends are there so need to be careful while driving to the top.
Climbing the tower is a hair raising experience.

Beautiful view from the top. Morning time would be preferable for an spectacular view n weather. Take a walk from the entrance for a good walk n if ur physically fit.

Must visit this place if you're near in the Mawanella and Gampola area.
I was amazed the view at top of the Ambuluwawa tower.
It was beautiful and relaxing.

Used to be a nice clean place but not anymore. The staff not maintaining this property properly and lots of Parks and Ponds around here cannot use anymore. Roads are cracked and it's really hard to drive a car around here. It's becoming a paradise for illegal activities.

Beautiful place and worth to visit it’s about 20km from Kandy city. You can the diversity of four religions a Buddhist temple, Hindu temple, Church and a Mosque were built in one place on the top of the mountain with magnificent scenery

What a great place to visit. Better you go by foot to the top. But you can visit to the top by a small vehicle but can't go by buses. Ticket is issued to all visitors at the gates. Better to go on misty and bit rainy days. And it will give you a great experience.

What a scenic view from above..!! Saw how how the mist coming along the lowlnds and create clouds. This scenery will remains in my mind forever. Very worthy place to visit without any hesitation. Watch your step if you wish to climb to the top..

This is not the same place as the multi religious centre situated at the top of the mountain. This place is more historically valuable than the prior. Governments have neglected the existence of this important place. A must go place.

Ambuluwawa temple area is known as a bio diversity complex. Not allowed to climb in the night time. If you can get the permission to climb at the night time it will be a really amazing experience after you get to the top of the hill. Lighted up surrounding will create a nice view. The road which is used to reach there is under construction. Accessible only just for the cars and vans.

I have been visited to this place during night time. We can see lot of lights when we reach the top and it creates different feeling. A nice view point and we can enjoy. The road direct to this place doesn't have street light and along the road bank fill with some rock parts therefore we can't use big size vehicle because of the width of the road.

The tower on top on the mountain can be seen from miles away and one is curious as to what it is! Called a Bio Diversity Complex, you do in fact pass through a tiny stretch of seeming rainforest type vegetation on the way up.
Once at the peak you have an assortment of structures representing all the religions, set among landscaped gardens.
For the young and fit, a climb to the summit of the tower will be the highlight. Very often it is shrouded in mist. The 360 degree views are of course spectacular.

Top class constructions with amazing gift of nature. Very rich biodiversity and its situated with attractive breath !! Could reach to the top of the mountain by walk, Tuktuk and your vehicle . Path is so adventure And be very careful ..Most chilling event is reaching to top of the tallest tower. Keep in mind, safety first. Wind will be strong at top. Sometime top will covered by fog . Better to visit over day time under sunshine .

Very good place.use 3weelers,suv,cab,150cc over bicycles for climb tha hill.if you can use other vehicles butit may be not good for vehicles.

Beautiful scenery can be seen from the top. Fragile environment and please enjoy your journey with out disturbing it. Small vehicles are preferred if you want to reach the top using a vehicle but walking would be wonderful if you love nature.
