An ancient devalaya, located a bit away from Kandy Colombo main road. This place was built to worship god Dedimunda and very popular amongst all sri lankan people as well as some foreigners. Place gets crowded during certain night events.

An ancient Dewalaya of Dedimunda Deviyo (Dedimunda God). The history of Dewalaya runs to around 1200AD and is worshiped by Buddhists. The main entrances are simply fabulous which shows the majesty of the Dewalaya.

Three sheltered car parking slots are available. But no orderly fashion in parking. Becomes extremely crowded towards the afternoon. In some parks you have to purchase supplies for the "Devalaya" from a specific place. Store keepers are helpful.
