  Nice place to visit. Last day of the Kandy perahera come to this place before they go for a watter cutting ceremony. Then final day Perahera (Pagent) starts from this place to finish the Kandy perahera.

  Asgiri Gedige Viharaya or Adahana Maluwa temple is one of the oldest and important shrines in Kandy where it was the first temple that hosted the sacred tooth relic while it was moved from Ratnapura to Kandy.
