  We had a wonderful lunch at Abey’s, seafood is very fresh, tasty and the setting is fantastic, with loungers and chairs. Very polite and efficient service and not constantly on top of you. We had a seafood platter for 2, it came with french frise and salad. Just perfect! I would definitely recommend this place to everyone! Thank you

  This is a great little place. Delicious food, had chilli garlic prawns twice already as it's so yummy. Perfect setting right on the beach, lovely host, yummy yummy food that's all freshly cooked, so don't be in a rush.

  My boyfriend and I had lunch here one day and decided to come back for dinner the very same night. Why? We are quite picky when it comes to restaurants. We don’t like the overly touristic places, of which there are ofcourse a lot in this area. Abey’s has everything; setting on the beach, the food is fresh and really delicious, prices are friendly and on top of it all, Abey is a great guy who understands excellent service, and also took the time to tell us things about Sri Lanka you don’t read in the travel guides. In a previous review I saw someone mentioning the pineapple curry - TRUE. Don’t miss it!
  Actually; there is a Sri Lankan lady who prepares all the curries (fresh, so it may take a little while). Furthermore; Abey and his wife are big Gordon Ramsey fans and both very passionate about food. You can tell when you taste it. For example; the fish I ordered came freshly grilled with nothing more than garlic, ginger and lime. Perfect!
  
  To be precise; Abey’s is the restaurant in the center of the three in a row, with the white chairs. It used to be called The Reef; but then the restaurant right next to it opened up and called itself Coral Reef. That is why Abey changed the name to Abey’s.

  This beautiful restaurant has changed the name,now its called Abey's seafood restaurant.and there is white chairs,if you want to eat delicious food then you have to sit on WHITE chairs which is belongs to Abey's seafood restaurant,otherwise if you sit on brown or blue chairs then that is not abeys

  Great open area place. Located In front of a Safe beach. There are much more food item for reasonable price point. Recommend for all.
