This is a very older one and historical Hindu temple which is very famous in Mullaitivu. There are two thanthonreeswaram in Sri Lanka. One of them is located at kokkaddicholai in Batticaloa of eastern province. This is other one which is located at oddusuddan in Mullaitivu of northern Province. There is a link between north and east.
