best place, best food and reasonable prices

My last visit to this place was unpleasant. The waitress was rude and didn't seem to want to help us. Not sure if they were understaffed that night but that is no excuse. We waited half an hour for a menu with no greeting. When she finally attended to us she was dismissive and passed the table to another colleague without even letting us know someone else would be waiting on us. The second waitress did not come to us immediately either so it was another half hour (one entire hour) before we got someone to talk with us and welcome us. The food took another hour. Overall, horrible experience!

When I tried to explain to the waitress that the beer I had was off she blamed the problem on me and proceeded to charge me for a beer that I had asked to be replaced

What started as a fairly positive lunch experience turned sour when the waiter overcharged one of us by 200%. Whether it was an honest mistake or intentional I've no idea. But that's not the main issue. As we were waiting for our bill to be recalculated I said that it was "naughty" to overcharge us. The owner (I later found is probably "Nick" and apparently it was his daughter that miscalculated the bill) took exception to this and verbally and publicly criticized me (a customer) for my choice of words. I'd give this place a skip, the food and prices were ok but nothing exceptional and then combined with being overcharged and the verbal assault, I'd stay well away from it.

With there recent update to the property and the fact that the menu has expanded plus the price range is really good. I give them a thumbs up!
