Highly rate Islelander rentals! The car was fantastic - well looked after and reliable. Marcus and the team made the whole experience super easy and convenient. They dropped the car at the hotel and picked it up at the end of our trip. Everything was professional and helpful - couldn't fault it. The cooler was also a very useful addition!

Easiest car rental ever. The representatives were kind and timely. Kendall let us follow him to our resort in Soufriere. Following a driver was a great way to get used to driving on the left side of the road. Marcus was informative and helped us arrive and depart without any incidents. I would rent from these folks again without a second thought.

They were so good I almost can't believe it. From the moment I got in touch with Marcus, it was so easy that (no offense, Marcus) I thought it felt too good to be true. I was waiting for some fine print that would stick it to us. But that fine print never came. He was real deal. The car was great, he was great, we were met at the airport by Uric and Kendall who couldn't have been cooler (gave us directions, restaurant advice, island advice, etc) and we drove away. When it came time to return the car to the airport, Uric and Kendall were there waiting with smiles, directed us to a parking spot, helped us gather our things and we hugged it out. And that was it. No BS, no red tape, no fine print. I can't vouch for every rental company out there, but I can tell you this is far and away the best I've ever dealt with. Thank you, Marcus, Uric and Kendall. Marcus and his team at Islander Cars were great! Super easy to book via email - Kendal was waiting for us at the airport with the car which was in great shape and super clean. Paperwork was quick and efficient too! We had no issues with the car and We dropped it off at the airport the following week again with Kendal - no problems and no waiting. Service was efficient and super friendly - we would definitely recommend the team at Islander and will definitely use them again when we head back to St Lucia.

Islander cars is a local business run by Marcus, who has a good, friendly and reliable team around him, who I can thoroughly recommend. My family and I were an hour late arriving at the airport due to flight delays, but our delivery driver was still there waiting in arrivals with our name on a sign - with not a word of complaint. Paper work was quick and we were away in no time, having been shown a local supermarket we wanted.

The small 4x4 was spotlessly clean and we had no trouble throughout our 11 days and found it to be a capable and reliable vehicle.

We had asked to return the car at a precise time at the airport and was pleased to find the guys already there, so we could go straight to our 'plane without any worry or delay.

If only all car hire was this quick and straightforward. I would use them again.

Islander cars (or St Lucia Car Rental) were excellent. Marcus was very responsive and helpful over email, the costs were all clear and detailed up-front and they were very flexible with dates, timing and delivery. They delivered the car to the villa - the car was new, clean, easy to drive. Marcus kept up email communication throughout our stay to sort out timings for our return to the airport. We pulled up right outside the terminal and two of his colleagues were waiting for us. They signed off very quickly and away we went! They were all super friendly, helpful, smiling and made our trip to St Lucia all the better! Highly recommended.

Rsnted for a week in Feb 2018. Best car rental company we have ever used. Marcus was very helpful in the booking process and answering any questions we had. He delivered the car right to our villa before arrived, came back for our signatures once we were there. We originally were going to return the car to the airport but last minute changed our minds and on short notice they came and picked the car up from the villa before we departed with no hesitation. Rental process was very easy and no hidden fees. Car was brand new and very clean. Would definitely recommend st. Lucia car rentals!

Very good service that's impossible to fault. The driver met us at the airport and helped carry our cases. We were picked up on time at our resort and taken to the airport in a very clean, cool (A/C) car. Reliable. Pleasant. Helpful. Relaxing.

We rented from this company on the advise of our condo owner (Janus) who guaranteed we would be happy.
Upon meeting the representative we found that the car he was providing was not what we had expected and once he realized the error arrangements were made to get our correct rental. Unfortunately the vehicle could not be provided to us until the next day. Immediately arrangements were made to get us to Soufriere. Steve the driver who drove us to our condo provided us with a guided tour and his phone number should we need any help.
The next day our vehicle arrived in the morning and as promised there was cooler and emergency cell phone provided.
The SUV that was provided was in good condition and very clean to add to this St. Lucia car rental credited us with the lost day of rental.
As seasoned travellers and car renters our experience with Marcus and his team at St Lucia Car Rental was out standing.

I originally emailed St. Lucia Car Rental and a few others when my wife and I decided to visit St Lucia. We were going for 2 weeks and I was looking for pricing, airport pickup and drop off and in my case I asked if they took AMEX as I use it for travel. Not only did Marcus get back to me quickly, their price was very competitive, the process was explained, they took AMEX and they would meet me at the airport and we would drop off at the airport. Wow.
When I arrived at the airport, I saw my name on a card, they walked me through the workings of the car (steering wheel is on the right side!), marked any scratches that were already on the car (note I was charged last year by a different company on another island with a surcharge for a mark that I know we did not make so I was very appreciative that they went through this process). They gave me a map and left a cooler in the back seat (very nice touch) and we were off! Car was great, never had any issues and when we returned it to the airport, a representative was there and we handed him the keys.
Absolutely the best experience I have had renting a car so I would highly recommend Marcus and his team.

Islander Cars - We were a little skeptical when we first booked as they do not take a deposit, but rest assured Marcus & his team were a pleasure to do business with with good communication via email. We were met at the airport & shown to our car where all the relevant paperwork was carried out. A four Wheel drive is recommended if you want to explore, as once off the main road it can get a bit rough / dirt tracks etc. I would recommend a Diahatsu Terios(Siri) for a party of 4 & a Toyota RAV 4 or Suzuki Vitara (Echo) for 5 People.
Returning the car was again a painless process, Marcus contacted us a couple of days prior & asked what time we would expect to be at the airport. His representative was there waiting. Excellent service !

Really helpful, friendly service, Marcus and team were not only the cheapest, but also the most flexible and able to offer me exactly what we needed in terms of pickup and drop off locations. We rented a toyota Rush which was perfect for the roads on the island (not as rough as everyone makes out). Thanks for everything!

We rented a Rush from Islander and the experience was great. The pickup and drop-off at the airport was smooth and easy. The staff was great. The vehicle was new and in great condition. The use of a local cell phone and a cooler was a nice extra. We were glad that we rented an SUV as the roads are rough and the extra clearance was necessary. Marcus was very helpful. Thanks

Renting with Islelander has been a great and smooth experience. The booking itself was frictionless, got a quick answer to my request. A rep came to drop the car at the ferry terminal and came to pick it up when we left. The car was in great condition. Would definitely recommend.

My trip to St.Lucia was fabulous ,it was just to short.I was very pleased to discover this site on the web .Marcus is an honest man and explains everything clearly with no strings attached.We landed at UVF on 7/4/17 and his assistant Bobby was there to meet us with our rented vehicle .On our departure Bobby was there at the airport waiting for us.I would certainly recommend this company to all my friends who will be traveling to St.Lucia.

I received a quick response from Marcus when I requested a car.
He delivered the car to our villa. The car was great! We needed to change up how we returned the car and meet him somewhere else at a different time. Marcus sent Gary to meet us. Gary met us and took us back to our villa and was so nice! These guys made renting a car a pleasurable experience. I will use them again if I am lucky enough to return to Saint Lucia.

We were more than pleased with our experience with Islander Cars! Marcus and Bobbie dropped the car off at our villa, The Stone House, in Marigot Bay and Met us at the airport at departure.

We were met at the airport by a company representative who took us right to our car at the airport parking lot, took care of the payment, and issued us our St. Lucia driving permits. The return procedure was just as quick. Marcus and his team are great communicators and are very professional. Will definitely rent from Islander Cars when we return to St. Lucia.

There were no problems at all with either the booking process, the vehicle, the meet & greet, or checking back in at the airport.

We were met at the airport by a very friendly and courteous gentleman. The car was in the airport parking lot and we were on our way within a very few minutes. It could not have been faster or easier. The car was very clean and in very good condition. Overall, everything was great!
