I used to live in St Lucia and have visited Mamiku Gardens many times. The gardens are beautiful with so many flowering plants. There are some fantastic walks through the gardens and woods at Mamiku, where you can loose yourself in the relaxing, peaceful settings surrounded by a variety of plants and beautiful Orchids growing naturally. The coffee shop is great too, you can get yourself a lovely cold Piton beer or sold drink after your walk. I enjoyed a cake too I have to admit. The gardeners and guides are very knowledgable about the plants and can answer all your questions. If you lucky enough to meet either Impy (Rosalind) or her mum Veronica you are in for a treat. Veronica knows every plant name in English and in Latin. Try and catch her out, bet you can't. If your in St. Lucia then you must visit Mamiku Gardens It's well worth a visit.
