Amazing hostel. Including own wardrobe and safe. Breakfast at the nearby Cafe Em Nazih is free. You just have to know that it's more a place for long term stayers. Especially those who're going to the Arabic school nearby. So don't expect to find any fellow travellers. But still. Absolutely recommend it!

Good atmosphere and big venue, the main event is a large room with various areas, where you can (service at the bar) order food, drinks and chicha. Lots of different people hanging out in a relaxed atmosphere (trendy maybe bit not that kind of trendy), some on laptop still at the end of the day, mostly group of friends meeting for a meal.

Noisy. Unfriendly staff. Pay more stay elsewhere.

The motorway/highway can be loudly heard from the rooms . The club on the top floor closes at 1am (usually) but can be heard til 3.

The top floor is good to chill out. The canteen in the basement is pleasant but the staff are surly.

The room was basic and infested with mosquitos. An unpleasant experience.

Amazing food and great, kind of oriental-hipster, atmosphere, the staff is super friendly and professional, the prices are perfect. One of my favorite places in town, except for their over noisy and boring friday and saturday nights But on other times of the week, it is perfect.

Informal and enjoyable compound of nice initiatives. Good food downstairs, nice roof terrace on the top. The frame somehow looks like Christiana or Kreuzberg, but the content is definitely Beiruti.

incredible place for the price. Feels more like a boutique hotel than a hostel. A little bit difficult to find because no one in the neighborhood seems to know it, but once you find the little walk way that leads you into their garden you're good. The staff is kind and accommodating (especially Muhammed Ali). Seems like check-in is only available during office hours, which end as early as 3pm on the weekend but if you're looking for a nice affordable place to stay in Beirut this is the one.
