  An amazing mix of ruins of different civilisations that passed by tyre. The site was called the egyptian port since it is in south tyre (the north port still used today was the greek port). You can find there the only square arena in the roman empire, the only complete phoenician temple (discovered by AUB students and some foreign archeologists), the tomb of Medusa and many references to her at the bottom of the long colums (her face is graved), the site is very complexe and continues in the sea (u can dive and see the rest of the site) and the entrance is only 4000 L.L. and 1000L.L. (less than 1$) for students.
