  Im an american tourist in lebanon..i found that a stray cat had been hit by a car and had broken its legi called this veterinarian at night and he told me he can take the cat in for treatment.i put the cat in a cardboard box and drove all the way to him at night because i felt sorry for this cathe saw the cat and told me it was healthy and would easily survive and there was no danger in postponing treatment until the next day. He told me if i paid $100 he would do xrays and surgery on the cat the next day.he also reassured me he would send me photos and update me every step of the way..unfortunately he did not do any of thisover the next two days i called him several times and he didnt answer.finally after several phone calls he answeredhe said the cat is still alive and he needs to wait until it is stablehe lied to methe cat was deadwhen he realized i was willing to drive back to him he confessed that the cat died.he didnt do anything he said he would dohe didnt do xrays he didnt do an operation he simply took the money and let the cat die thinking i would ignore the issue..i returned to his clinic very angry and he returned the $100 to me.Although he returned the money to avoid any issue with me this doctor lied to me several times.he made excuses about why he didnt do any treatment, reply to me, or update me but the reality is he lied and let the cat die when this cat would have survived.if it was a pet cat he wouldnt have let it diebut because it was stray he didnt care..thanks dr.yousef im sure u dont feel any guilt for this catbut there is a God and he will hold you accountable for letting an animal die from neglect.im not letting this go and i will report this incident to whichever organization i canwe americans severely oppose animal cruelty and animal neglect.

  After having a bad experience with veterinarians, some friends on an animal rescue group suggested that I go see Dr. Youssef Saleh. I did researches and found that he has high ratings (google maps and facebook). So I took my cat and went there to check by myself if that's true.
  
  And guess what! He is the most loving and caring doctor I've ever seen in Lebanon! He held my cat like a little baby, pet her, gave her treats so she feels comfortable, gave her the vaccines very gently And the most important of all is no matter he gets busy, he gives you time and listens to you carefully contrary to other doctors who only care about taking your money! On the other hand, the clinic is so clean with no bad smell at all!
  
  I was happy that Sugar my cat is in safe hands and I directly took an appointment for her neutering surgery 2 days ago. Her uterus was infected so the surgery was harder but Dr. Youssef did it successfully. Her wound stiches were so clean and barely seen which made me rest assured 😻 And I couldn't believe my eyes when I saw her jumping on the bed that same night!!!
  And the day after, Dr. Youssef was very responsive on whatsapp and answered me anytime!
