Either if you go there in winter or summer, in spring or autumn, you will always fall in love with this special place and you will ask to go there again and again! I have been there more than 15 times!
The valley was registered on the UNESCO World Heritage List in 1998.
Hiking between the olive trees, visiting some very old monasteries, spending some time deep in the nature, listening to the birds, to the water stream, smelling the flowers, following the butterflies.the place is heaven on earth.
Just don't go there on any official Holiday (especially the 1st of May!)the place will be full of very noisy people.

Place for prayer and meditation. Testimony of the hard life that the old monks lived during the war against Christians by the ottomans

Located in wadi qannoubine a unesco world heritage site, this old monastery is worth a visit. Inside you will find a cave church and a 17th century chruch. Surrounded by luscious landscapes. It is Accessible by foot on an easy trail or even by car. From there you can also proceed to wadi qadisha a 1h30 mins walk.

Le respect et la piété qu'impose ce lieu conjugués avec la beauté du site le rendent un lieu à ne pas manquer lors d'une visite au Liban. Une expérience qui atteint l'âme !
