  A beautiful small mosque which underwent extensive renovation years ago. It is the oldest mosque in Abu-Samra district and this is where its name comes from: "Al-Kadeem" meaning "The Old". In my childhood I was a regular user of this mosque and I miss the place the way it was before renovation; simple and humble with no excessive decorations and expensive finishes. But even today, after renovation, the place is still lovely and rich but with a very different character.
