Highly overrated and overcrowded. I hope the saints don't mind the noisy and messy crowds.
Good place you have to visit
A feeling of bliss and peace, admiration and joy, that's what awaits the visitors of Saint Charbel's Shrine
Wonderfullllll peacefulllll place
Religious monastry for christians One of the most important site of lebanese christians to pray and feel the inner peace ..
Religious place situated in a nice green setting
Beautiful and amazing church. I love attending a mass there
This is a very pretty place and I'd recommend visiting if you're able to; the journey to the monastery is equally and beautiful and serves as another reason to visit. I don't feel the "energy" others mention, but it can be a calming place if you allow it. I feel this would be a better place when less busy. There are a couple of small restaurants/cafés if you're looking for food, but most people eat before visiting or afterwards.
One of the most relaxing places to pray and make a good connection with god
Very spiritual location ❤😍🌷👍
Regardless of your religion, this Holy place is a source of tranquility and peacefulness. Saint Charbel is well known for his miracles in curing sick people. Thus many people from different religions and from many different countries come here seeking his blessings. Praying, lightening a candle and visiting this stunning church is a must when visiting Lebanon.
Beautiful Church, great place to visit to pray as well as soak up the beautiful surroundings. Felt great energy walking the grounds of Mar Charbel Church. I hope to visit again soon.
A wonderful place to pray and get blessed from Saint Charbel
One of Lebanon's holiest Christian Shrines dedicated to Saint Charbel, a local monk who was canonized as a saint in 1954. The place is visited from all over the world by pilgrims seeking benediction and healing as the saint is said to have cured several persons from all walks of life and all religions who came suffering from chronic and terminal illnesses.
The monastery in itself holds a great historical value and is a very welcoming place in one of Lebanon's mountain villages in an area that has kept its traditions
