My stay was a delight. it was a very nice gesture to receive a lovely gardenia from the smiling hostess at breakfast on Thursday. The Foul I had the Lebanese way prepared by the Chef attending the eggs station was delicious. Stayed for only three nights and was visiting on business. Would like to come back on vacation and stay longer

The hotel has the best beach location. Helpful & very responsive personnel. We had an executive sea view room in which you can enjoy a magnificent view of the Mediterranean Sea. First room we got was bad located & very noisy but the management of the Hotel was so kind & helpful to change our room to another which made our stay very pleasant. I also want to thank the management of the Hotel especially miss Sarya who’ve been so kind & even send me a birthday cake in our room on my birthday! It was a beautiful surprise. Unforgettable journey

We had not the feeling of welcome. Pretty unmotivated lady at the reception and also like “just do my job”.
Rooms are pretty old fashion. Sea view was nice but they cleaned with a high pressure machine the whole day outside. Other work in front of beach with shovels was pretty noisy too.
For dinner the restaurant manager told us it is closed because of a private party. Really? In a Hotel? No Dinner possible? After insisting they allowed us to enjoy dinner in a separate space.
Breakfast was everyday the highlight. Couldn’t be better.
Room service was good - but at the third day they took our private Shampoo from the Bathroom. No words.
Limousine transfer back to airport is offered in our rate. I tried to order the car and the lady at the reception asked me if I would like to order a taxi or a limousine. I said to her it doesn’t care me because Mövenpick offer me the service. Twice she said no, it depends how much I will pay for the car. I tried again to explain her that The Transfer is incl. in the room rate. She was just too lazy to check which rate we booked. I had to insist.
Check-out: bill for extra-Phone calls outside Lebanon. But we already paid these expenses the night before in cash. At the check-out they didn’t had this information.
I am sorry to say that - but This Hotel isn’t worth the Money

Addendum:
The Hotel contacted me a few days after I rated them here on Google. Very nice. We talked about my experience In the Hotel. I highly appreciate the reaction from the Management and I fully accept their excuses.
I will come again to Mövenpick Beirut.

What I liked:
Excellent support from the floor team. Very helpful, polite, quick, and supportive.
Sales team dropped by several times to check on us.
What was Ok:
Food. I have been to other places where food was superior.
What I did not like:
I was shown a room and given another. The room was very small and the floor had a bad smell.
The parking area still has old signs for 2 ways, when in fact it is a one way street- high safety risk,

The hotel is in an excellent location with generally good facilities. The rooms are a little faded and the hotel generally could do with a face-lift and upgrade to some of its equipment. Staff were both pleasant and helpful.

One of my favorite destinations to spend the summer, I’ve been spending my summer at Mövenpick for the last three years. They gotta work on their wifi, low signal everywhere and poor internet connection.

Excellent central location with panoramic views of the sea, coast and the rolling Beirut hillsides. The staff are very accommodating and the facilities are excellent.
The rooms are old school and the audio video experience especially the TV was quite old. Choice of channels and the picture quality was poor.
Overall a very pleasant experience and would recommend again to travellers to Beirut.

The gym and pool are awesome. Staff is helpfull. Place is clean . But i always use to go there very early in the morning. Only downside that the gym doesnt open 24/24

Overall the place is great but the hotel is like a fridge, too cold inside because of the ac.
Also the breakfast needs some refreshment.
The guy that does eggs needs some lessons on how to make scramble eggs, and they should be served instead of let them get cold until customer go get them.
Apart from that, amazing place.

did my wedding there, for a resort that prides itself in its ballrooms and venues, you'd be shocked to see that the fake wedding cake they provide is old, weary, broken, and looks in terrible poor shape. on top of that they promised the best and not to worry.. another point is the electricity cut in the middle of the wedding, and took over 10 min to get the power back poor quality of service! Unfortunately, on the wedding day

Good place to visit the rooftop restaurent, and its a beach resort too
It has few restaurent rooftop , all have great service but expensive, at the beach only food allowed from the beach restaurent, portions are very small and the price is double then any great restaurent in town, the beach restaurent food is snacks , very small portions and very expensive . But the rooftop restaurents have great food but expensive too. Its not value for the money, but its one of the rare place in Beirut with beach access during the day.

Great setting, calm and relaxing resort mere minutes from the airport. The pool area is one of the best in Beirut, however being in the middle of the city the sea is quite littered and the beach section cannot be fully enjoyed. This nautical themed hotel is starting to show it's age and is due for a renovation.

This hotel is simply one of the best.

Great Hotel

one of the great hotels that i have visited. I got the chance to attend a symposium and a wedding in this hotel. in the two occasions i was highly satisfied and felt i'm indulged.

the food was great with different options for each meal course.

A favourite of ours. Wonderful staff, white glove service. Very patient with children. Nice room, spacious enough. Awesome location, everything a step away. Exquisite food. Once well tipped, room was immaculately maintained, with little gifts for my children. What a lovely touch. Quite a fantastic fitness centre, best I've seen yet, in a hotel. I cannot express enough : service, service, service. A+++ Staff very knowledgeable about all sightseeing and excursions. They seem to know someone for everything you might need or want to do! Check in and out very smooth, no issues at all. Precise billing, no errors. This is our favourite hotel yet, in Lebanon.
