This is exactly how it felt at Ladurée, as a soft march breeze!

On a calm Monday eve, we passed for a light dinner in a beautiful setting: a grandiose decoration of the Villa in downtown Beirut. The garden outside is more than inviting to enjoy brunches and warm evenings. Step inside, on your left the huge display of the mouth-watering macaron, and the dessert display a treat to the eye and belly!

Walk further more inside where you are transported to medieval castles, huge portraits and chandeliers dropping from the ceiling. A fine dining table setting.

The welcome is à la hauteur, so are the service and food!

A warm bread basket prepares your taste buds for the order.

    We had:

Pumpkin soup: its service is so special: a base of pumpkin seeds and Parmesan shavings over which the soup is poured. Loved its creaminess without any cream added, very well-flavored.

Goat cheese salad: again working on the presentation: over a bed of greens, olives and tomatoes, lays a loaf of bread in which nests the cheese ball. Wow for both look and taste.

The club sandwich: layers of grilled veggies and Parmesan inside toast with a side of greens and crunchy fries: comfort food redefined

Ending in a sweet note with le Mont Blanc: flavors bursting inside your mouth, not your usual dessert.

Counting the minutes for the warm weather to enjoy the garden, yes I will be back and you must!

Excellent place, recreating that feeling of Paris. Wonderful décor inside, very nice terrace outside. We tried it for dinning and breakfast. Sweets were great, steak was surprisingly very good for sweets shop, salad was average.
The downside, plates are so expensive. Terrace is not enough shaded from sun heat. We were in Spring (end of March) but the sun heat was bothering at late morning.
