  I am a Canadian born citizen, recently came to Lebanon for a visit. I accompanied my Syrian friend to deliver her baby at Hamed Farhat Hospital in Jibjaneen. I have not yet experienced in my 40 years of life more animal like treat. My friend was treated inhumanly, why? Because she’s a syrian and will be having her baby by the UN.
  She was set on a bed full of blood from previous patients, she did not have access to water after delivery. The washrooms were full of blood and filthy with no water at all. After I made a big scene they opened the water for a few minutes for her to wipe the blood off her body.
  This is absolutely unacceptable. How can a hospital operate in the name of the UN and be unfit to treat a dog! This hospital should be closed down for misconduct and it’s staff should be treated like the animals they treat the Syrians like.
