Quality price of this place is met. The only inconvenient is that inside is smoking. I recommend it.

I checked the place last week.
They have the most depressive demotivated frauning lady cashiers on the planet. It is like entering one of our Lebanese government offices where employees mistreating pple is a policy. That is sufficient enough to turn any good experience to a very negative one.
All the other staff where friendly and humorous and the food was ok but not that special you can find better taste in even smaller businesses.response / report this review -

I visited the place last week.

Diwan al hachem is a good restaurant famous for it good food.let me tell it is located in the middle of souk el zalka a busy commercial shopping area for good quality merchandise. On the seventies I went to a school in the elastin area in cornert chehwan an excellent school.most of the people in that area were well to do families. So that market made the soul el zalka popular and the DIWAN SO HASHEM became a success story bc forbthe good traffic and their best chawerma chicken and meat sandwiches plus a good menu of gourmet food.i like that place so much.i advice people to go their.they also offer fresh juices.

Ordered 1 chicken shawarma, 1 Lamb shawarma. The bread used was superbly delicious. Would try different sandwiches next time as they offer a wide range of meat sandwiches. Lettuce in chicken shawarma sanwich isn’t something good to offer. The lamb shawarma was tasty. Both had good quantity of meat. Quality wise its fine.

This place has become seriously expensive it lets you run away when you see the menu. Each year the prices keep on rising and the food portions keep on getting smaller. You can't deny that the food is super good, but comon, i'm not here for a wedding or something

Great little place to get away from the busy streets, views of the street below while having a shisha/argileh and a meal. Foods include bbq, pizza and desserts.
