the music is excellent.

They offer drinks and food, and they are very affordable .

Coup d'état, also spelled Coop d'état, is a bar situated at the top of an old building in a trendy corner of the Saifi neighborhood. It is part of an "entertainment complex" that also includes a cafe-restaurant (Cafe Em Nazih), a hotel (Saifi Urban Gardens) and a language school (Saifi Institute for Arabic Language). Its situation on a rooftop is both an attraction and a problem. The rooftop is a steep climb and requires you to climb 3 floors (6 flights of stairs). This is Ok for most of its younger patrons, but it you are out of shape, you may find the climb problematic. Worse, if you have a tendency to get drunk, walking down 6 flights may be dangerous. One you are on the rooftop the bar is fun, but you will have to block out the noise and the pollution coming from the "too close for comfort" highway. Prices are similar to those practiced at similar establishments in Beirut. Some discounts are offered on drinks between 5 and 8PM, but the establishment is not very popular that early in the evening.

What a lovely rooftop where u can really come as u are.
Pleasantly welcomed by a smiley manager and a lovely waiter. We tried their generous salad with feta and goat cheese sandwiches both made with the freshest ingredients and served with a big smile

Nice place, too bad the staff are very rude. Not your ordinary rude, the type that when you ask how long will it take for the nachos to finish they answer by :" 30 minutes, one hour, an hour and a half I don't know"
I think this is one of the owners who replied this way. (The place was empty at this time @5 pm)
Been there like dozens of times but not going there anymore.
Wouldn't recommend it to anyone.
