Great place for a short hike! Not too far from Beirut either, making it a lovely day trip. Small entrance fee (reserve/government run place). It's not more than a few dollars to enter. Just follow the path and you'll reach the lake after around a 25 minute hike.

Great place if you're looking for a new place to hike. The trail includes many uphill and downhill paths. It is a good place to take kids who can walk and take a bit of exercise. I wouldn't recommend going there with kids when the trail is wet because it can be slippery at some points.

The river itself is amazing, and worth going there for a swim. Unfortunately although there are many garbage cans along the way, many people keep trashing the place with plastics which can't be any worse. Please preserve the nature for all of us to enjoy.

The lake too cold to swim in, yet you'd love to get urself wet after walking for an hour and a half to reach it.

Had a lot of fun hiking, it's true they are caring for it there needs to be more attention to safety. A lot could be added to make the experience unforgettable.

This trail is now part of the Jabal Moussa reserve. Hikers are charged an 8,000 LBP fee to enter.

It used to be very dirty and is now practically litter free for the most parts. It would be even nicer if the surroundings were cleaned as well.
