This place is a national hotspot in Lebanon. You can’t visit Ehden and not visit this gem of a restaurant with beautiful views (if you get the right table location). Food is tasty, staff are accommodating, atmosphere is busy especially during Sunday lunch time, views are unmatched. Reserve ahead of time if you want a prime viewing spot. However, walk ins are welcome but you’ll rarely find a table next to a window/ledge.

Great restaurant. Excellent food and a fabulous place to take the family. You can dine here for hours, so take your appetite! I would recommend booking as the place gets packed. A dining experience that won't be forgotten.

During the lazy Summer days of my childhood, Ehden was a place we visited to avoid the heat radiating from the scorching sun. One of the popular restaurants we could escape to there was Al Ferdaws. However, it wasn’t just us that sought this restaurant as a refuge; in those days a person would have to struggle to find an empty table. Well, when we went this time, there was no need to search for a space to be seated in. We decided to try it anyway, although if you’re a parent, you should be aware that high chairs are not provided. A noteworthy issue is that the service was really great; the waiters were very attentive and friendly. The cool breeze was refreshing, and the vast greenery that the restaurant overlooked was luscious. It was time to try the food. For those of you who do not know this, Ehden is well-known for its voluminous spherical “kibbe”, especially the one filled with “shahem” (fat). Actually, the kibbe with fat was the best thing I tasted at Al Ferdaws, other than the fattoush which was fresh and well-seasoned. The mezze/appetizers were fine; the only one from the platters we ordered that I did not like was the sambousik. As for the grilled meat and chicken dish, the most flavorful and succulent was the kafta. Some meat pieces were more tender than others, but the chicken was borderline chewy. When all the Salted was taken off the table, the restaurant offered us an assortment of fruits on the house. Then, like in most Lebanese restaurants, a person wearing a traditional attire dedicates himself to passing around the tables to pour coffee for those who want some bitterness to accompany the sweetness of the fruits and the biscuits with lokum cubes. I left Al Ferdaws feeling content to have returned to a place that I used to go to in my younger years.

Love this place and Ehden is breathtaking. Helpful staff, good food. Now the grilled meat was slightly over cooked thus became hard and I prefer more salt on the food. But that apart, was yummy. Very reasonable price.

This huge restaurant has the best service and the best food. If you are looking for Lebanese Kebbeh (traditional Lebanese food) look no further.

I dont know why i even got recommendations to go there.
Bad experience from the start: the host was even lost to suggest a proper seating for us, after struggling to get a suitable one as feasible as possible, the ambiance was so cold when we asked for coal or any source of heat in a lebanese restaurant they said they dont have?!
Food average and overpriced for what it is, and above all of that they dont have all the menu items come on: foul, fatteh???
We ordered some mezze: labne (average), raheb salad (ok), mtabbal (so so), pastries (fried in a very used oil they were brownish an unappealing), roasted potatoes, salads (fattoush, rocca and zaatar:very delicious, that's what we ate), kibbi b l7m w snouber (not like i was expecting). We had to wait for more than an hour for the hot bread (no dough was available???) and it was not worth the wait at all, same for the saj bread.
We left unsatisfied, cold and regretting this experience.

By far the best Lebanese food that I have had in Lebanon. Especially lamb meet is a must try along with humus.

Food is excellent. Everything is really fresh and good. The views are really nice too. The drive to the restaurant is very scenic. Bcharre and Wadi Qannoubine are not very far.

This old place has one of the best views in Lebanon in the mph rains of Ehden. The traditional food experience as well as with the large selection of food choices makes it in the best places to go, especially during summer where the night is cool and chilly
