  "It's all about money, but if you'd be my friend I'd show you around, [] as you have no friends here you need time or money to find the best places by yourselfs." (Quote of our owner, when we where asking how to discover Vang Viengs countryside "off the beaten track" but with gains to pay a guide.) He was not only a host, but provided the usual trips to blue lagoon no. 1-3 or whatever ziplining, tubing and other overruned trips.
  Tried to rip us off in the end for paying an additional night, cause the room was "blocked", even though other rooms were available and we also informed him on arrival that we just stay two nights instead of three. Very dishonest at all.
  No goodbye in the end, nor any other word.
  Rooms where overpriced for their condition: hot water was not working regularly, shower was broken. We checked some other guesthouses in the area, in better condition with lower prices. Sorry, but never ever again. It's all about money, sure, but one has to work for it! In the end we found some nice caves and lonley pools by ourselves.

  Calm, nice place little bit outside of center. Rooms face small yard. They are not big, but have enough space for 2 people with bagpacks. Cost is 90k kip for a room with bathroom.
  Free coffee and tea is available, water refill costs 3k kip per large bottle. Wifi is very fast as for Laos.
  One star is deducted for rooster crowing in the middle of the night and for lack of any hangers - small things, but annoying.

  I prefer roosters to techno music, and came out here after one night in a more central spot -- and then extended my stay, because it felt so nice to be here. The family is lovely, the volunteer wonderful to chat with.
  
  It's a quiet and relaxing place to stay, and I really enjoyed it. The room is basic and comfortable and had everything I needed -- a good enough bed and bedding, a towel, a nice bench and bar to put/hang my things, a private loo with a hot water shower, a table out front facing the pretty garden, a nice warm light for reading once it got dark, workable wifi, water bottle refills to cut down on plastic.
  
  I'd warmly recommend it.

  Nous avons payé la nuit en arrivant, nous devions resté qu une seule nuit au final nous y sommes resté 2 et le matin avant de partir le patron nous as demandé de payé les 2 nuits l endroit n es pas très propre mais cest surtout la malhonnêteté ou le manque de professionnalisme du fait qu il ne lai pas marqué sur son registre le payement de la première nuit nous avons donc du payé les deux nuits sous menaces d appelé la police nous étions pris par le temps pour prendre un bus.. je déconseille fortement d y allé. .

  The rooms at Sengkeo Guesthouse are basic but clean. Only fan room no aircondition. Owner was very helpfull and very friendly. He provided lots oft information about local herbs that help to cure certain sicknesses. Very interesting - Thank You. Free coffee is provided in the morning. The place is a bit outside of the center of VV and wonderful quiet in the night.

  If youre looking for a cheap and quite place to stay, this is the place. Take note, they dont have an airconditioner, so it gets got at times, and ita far from the town center.

  Les espaces communs sont cool. La guest est au bout de la rue principale (au sud de la ville) et pour ceux qui veulent dormir ce n'est pas un mauvais emplacement. Par contre la chambre n'est pas incroyable et nous avons déjà eu largement mieux pour 9€. Et pour finir il n'y a pas de pression dans la douche Dommage.
