Located across the bamboo bridge in LP (which costs a small fee to cross), you'll find no better place to stay than Villa Ban Phanluang. Staff are warm, welcoming and very helpful. Breakfast is served on the balcony in front of your room and the coffee is great. They can also help arrange any tours or transportation as needed. Highly recommended.

Since the moment we arrived, everything was very practical and well organized to make our stay comfortable and smooth! The owner is friendly, speaks and understands very good English and is keen to help with transport and logistic things. The internet worked well, the bed was comfortable, the breakfast was yummy and although the hotel is not in the center, you walk 3minutes and you can have the experience of your life, crossing the river straight to the center with a very rural boat, with the most beautiful view you can imagineThey will also lent you bikes for free (very old but it's part of the charm ;-) and they run several lifts between the Hotel and the city center. It is a very familiar place (the owners have a small child, a dog and the sweetest puppie) and although it isn't luxurious, it is a great deal for the price. I'd definitely recommend and stay there again.

Great service, i stayed here 4 nights and surely will come back.
The hotel has breakfast, free minivan bus roundtrip to night market.
The staff is helpful and warmly to help you everything.

They guy who is most of the time on the desk, Ben, is so kind and has a very good English level. They give you fresh lemonade when you arrive to the place.

I spent great time in Ban's villa. Ban is speaking fluently English, he is very helpful and his ideas for exploring the city were perfect. Hotel is clean, breakfast tasty, the streets around peaceful, service great. Thank you

It is a great place to stay in Luang Prabang. Rooms are nice and clean. Breakfast is tasty. Fresh & free drinks are provided. Wifi etc. Ban with his family are so helpful that you feel top a1 class of hospitality. Its located just after bamboo bridge so its quiet! We rent motorbike direclty from Ban without any problems for waterfalls. If you need any travel advise - Ban will give you best ideas where and how to go. Thank you Ban for that time at yours!!

Great guesthouse run by lovely people. They provide free bicycles and have free scheduled shuttle services to the post office in town if you book at least 30 minutes early. Quiet neighborhood with only a few other guesthouses nearby so the taxi might not be familiar with it yet. It is near the Ban Phanluang temple so that's a good marker. The bamboo bridge was down in the middle of August 2016 but there is a boat service for 5000kip instead so even though the guesthouse is not in the heart of the town, it is still easy to get around. If you don't take the boat, it is only about 15 minutes to Mount Phousi.
