Great view of the small and big river coming together. Nice park like setting. We just had some beer. Service and presentation were very good.

Stunningly beautiful spot with huge potential. Alas the service is completely untrained. I was shoved a Lenovo tablet into the face, with a barely functional and convoluted website. The food options are plain boring and can be optioned better from any nearby street vendor. Why is this not turned into a French or German-style cafe with homemade cakes and fresh sandwiches, or an Italian-style ice cream cafe, or wood-fired pizzeria just anything special focussing on one thing would do.

Sundowner spot for cocktails, beautiful people spotting and some superb food. Not a place to be preserving your sheckles, but a winner for position, view and quality. You won't believe what this spot was before this bar was built, just ask :)
Overlooking the junction of 2 rivers, nicely done.

Closed. For hotel guests only.

I visited at 10am and was greeted by staff then seated, only to be told that the Cafe is closed for hotel guests only.

The view was ok. Much better places to choose from that are open!

we went two times. first time no instruction required. Papaya salad and dried beef. salad was made Laos style which has fermented fish and is spicy. Second time we ordered the salad again and it came out like we were from Kansas. had to send back saying we want Laos style. we are in Laos after all!!! Very clean so dont worry, go for it! Service is great!!!!

Paid a premium to have iced instead of hot coffee, and got served what is clearly Nescafe Instant. Bad value for 25.000 kip!

A charming little place run by Mekong Riverview Hotel across the street. The restaurant overlooks the river and has commanding views. We have had breakfast and dinner there, both very good. The crepes with vanilla sauce are authentic, nice and thin. The staff is professional and attentive. The food is solid but not exciting.

As the name suggest, the view here is great. Two rivers, jungle and a bamboo bridge. So this is a good stop for a break. Probably better for a drink or a snack. I ate here a soup with a spice tree, it was good but I think prices are bigger than deserved.
