Typical Laos style market where most stalls copy their neighbors western, expensive goods. Fresh food market was ok. Not particularly interesting unless you haven't been to one elsewhere.

Nice local market. You can walk around in the evening for dinner at local restaurant. Food are good taste and reasonable prices. But don't forget to tell them in advance if you can not eat spicy.

You can find all basic things here, if you arrive in first part of day. People do not speak much english, but you can agree on things and prices anyway!

Local market selling fresh vegetables and meat/fish but also stalls selling clothes, jewellery, phones and household articles. Oriented to local people but worth a visit if your interested in more than just tubbing while you're in Vang Vieng.

Great morning walk to experience Laos urban living life. Plenty of friendly local vendors mostly selling their own fresh produces. Breakfast of grilled pork meat liver and other parts of the animal can be purchased with sticky rice. Laos coffee and other fresh vegetables are available. Just visit to see how the local live is an experience in itself.
