Great little place if you find yourself in Vientiane. Staff are great; very friendly and speak great English. Tried several different things off the menu over 3 days and all were great. Club sandwich and brownie are to die for 👌 (The only downside for me is the milkshake which isnt a typical ice cream style drink but is milky instead and a little sour)

Went to this lovely place after reading so many nice reviews about it and I can absolutely recommend it. The pesto pasta was delicious and big portion, the owner and his father were keeping coming to my table and asking me if everything was fine - also the waiters. This is what I call service. Nice job, great atmosphere. Thank you so much for your kindness! I will be back one day ;-)

Amazing food and service, got to meet Tyson, very friendly guy. He spent the whole evening chatting to the guests and trying to make the evening nice, the servers were very nice as well,very Canadian experience in an Asian country, also the Caesar was amazing and the pizza great!! A little speck of North America in Laos! Loved it, definitely will be back

Delicious Canadian style pizza. After, traveling for almost 3 months, we felt like having Italian food. We bumped into Tyson Kitchen while walking in the street. The father of the owner welcomed us by saying it was a Canadian restaurant. Being Canadian as well, it was a sign ! The pizza was great, the owner very friendly as well.

Found this restaurant from review in google and I feel I make the right decision to lunch here. The burger and pizza are great with reasonable price. Also with friendly staff. Strongly recommend if you are a pizza lover.

We had a blast at Tyson Kitchen and would highly recommend you make a stop while in town for some great pizza, cocktails and most importantly and owner who is super friendly and interested to strike up a conversation. It's rare in this country to have such amazing service and ended up staying a couple hours to learn more about Tyson and his business and try some of the unqiue Canadian inspired cocktails. Overall great experience.

This was a relief to find a place in Southeast Asia that knows how to make a beef burger. Great service and great food. The whole family loved what they ordered sandwich, pizza and burger. Lovely take on apple pie-apple pizza.

Nice atmosphere. Tyson, his father, and everyone else working here are really polite and chatty if you want to chat.
Had the blue cheese burger and was very satisfied. Many people are regulars according to the surrondings, which creates a good atmosphere.
They have a local beer from a local micro brewery called Rock Beer on tap, really good beer.

5/5 probably coming back tomorrow to try there pizza!

Came here twice in two days in Vientiane. Awesome food, great staff, good ambiance, very fair prices.
Tried two burgers, a pizza and the trio grilled cheese sandwich and all were great. They have a good whiskey selection and Tyson and his father are the friendliest people you’ll meet in Vientiane.
Go support this fine Canadian run establishment, you won’t regret it 🇨🇦.

Tyson and his father are super nice. It was nice to have company and someone to talk with. The food was good and the cocktails were nice. Tyson introduced me to mixing maple syrup with Canadian whiskey. Yummy! Pictured is a Manhattan

The big star goes to the chatty old man that makes you feel right at home with his good humour and jokes. That their pizza is actually great, only adds to the whole experience. Go for the option of having two pizzas in one. Great for trying different pizzas at the cost of one only.

One of the best places in Vientiane. 🙂 The staff is great. Tasty burger, I love the french fries. 🙂
The owner Tyson seems a nice person, he ask if the meal as good and even talk a little portuguese! Great! We really enjoy it. 🙂

A very welcoming place in the center of Vientiane, Tyson and his dad knows how to make you feel confortable. We came to try the avocado chicken salad and the zucchini salad. Both was good. The zucchini salad (25 000kip) is more like an appetizer, the chicken one (45 000kip) is better if you're hungry. The avocado was ripe and the chicken very tasty.
The red wine was good (60 000kip for half a liter). The apple pie was a little hard but tasty too with the maple syrup. We tried a local drink who consist of mixing a Canadian whisky and maple syrup, it was nice too for a change.

The ambiance is nice, busy place but still relax : dim light and candles on the tables.
I liked the music too, not too noisy and diversified : hip hop, pop

It's a place where you feel good : good service, good food & drinks and good ambiance

I never write reviews but felt compelled to after having dinner here. Probably the best service you’ll find in SE Asia. Staff were so friendly and the owners made a point to talk to all their customers before they left and were so lovely. I ordered the burger with fries but asked to swap for the garlic and parmesan fries and they did so at no extra cost! The pizzas also looked immense so if you’re needing a break from fried rice and noodles, go here!

Loved the food, the service, and the atmosphere. Tyson has real pepperoni for the pizza--hard to find in SE Asia, I assure you. If you like pizza or are a foreigner wanting a taste of home, you have to check this place out.

We begrudgingly showed up to Tyson's kitchen because, despite loving Lao food, we were craving a classic, Western style burger. I say "begrudgingly" because we weren't expecting much from a Western-style restaurant in a more tourist-heavy area. But we were so wrong!

We ended up coming back to Tyson's Kitchen multiple times during our stay. The food was both filling and creatively prepared. The owner, Tyson, was warm and gregarious, and even went out of his way to help us out when we had some vehicle trouble. Particularly loved the Lao-style hot dog!

Nice restaurant/bar run by very friendly, young Laos/Canadian guy, Tyson. We were looking for a place to eat and thought we'd support a Canadian establishment. :-) Seems popular with local expats. Bit pricey but good quality. Wife loved their gluten free pizza crust. Best she's had, not just in SE Asia. Hawaiian pizza was good also. 'Eh.

Pizza was okay. I was hoping for something special but the base was too chewy for my liking and the tomato sauce was almost like a chutney (interesting flavour but not what I was hoping for). On the plus side, the toppings were fairly generous.
I didn't have a bad experience but I wouldn't come here again because it I don't think the food matches the price.

Probably the best burgers and pizza I ever had in Asia and certainly the cleanest place I visited.
Tyson the owner is an amazingly friendly and open guy and he is definately setting the benchmark for service, quality and taste of food and cleanliness. Number 1 in restaurants in Vientianne is well deserved 👍🏼

How to describe my experience at Tyson's kitchen? I could mention the superb service, the excellent food, the delightful setting. But what pleased me most, what almost had me in tears was seeing a bottle of Tabasco, king of all condiments, for the first time in two months of travel in Asia. Tyson, the owner, admitted to me that he was a "condiments guy" and it showed: Tabasco, Heinz ketchup, freshly grated parmesan. The works, in other words. My girlfriend and I ate Mac n Cheese balls and the supreme pizza. We couldn't have asked for a better meal.
