Its a HOME AWAY FROM HOME. A good night sleep is assured
It's a basic hostel. There are lockers for valuables, but your bag will stay in your room. The air conditioning in the room is good and works. I was hoping for a more social atmosphere and the chance to meet other travelers, but I didn't find that the night I spent there. There aren't individual lamps, so either the overhead light is on or off, which is kind of annoying if you want to go to bed before other people. There is a plug by each bed. The toilets are small, so if you want to change clothes there, it's kind of difficult The breakfast is very basic, but fine. The staff is friendly and helpful.
The small hostel located in the center so it' easy to move everywhere as night market, Pagodas, Phusi hill, museumHostel is designed basicly, clean bathroom with good equitments, .There is free breakfast daily, options include beef/chicken noodle soup, and eggs or jam on toast, all with fresh fruit. Tony 's very nice, his staffs are friendly and their dog's so cute.
Stayed here for one night and left because my friend and I woke up to see several bed bugs in our beds. She had bites up and down her arm and I found 5 bugs in my backpack after we left. The staff weren't taking it seriously at all but they did do our laundry after we requested them to do so to avoid spreading bed bugs all throughout Laos. The room had no window, we could hear everything from the floor above it (which is to be expected given the low cost of the room but I want to be thorough), and the sockets in the outlets were very loose. The cleaning staff was very friendly, the breakfast was okay, good location, but overall if you would like to avoid bed bugs then I'd suggest staying elsewhere. They said they would "clean the sheets" even after my friend and I told them they have to replace the mattresses and bring in professionals to really get rid of them. If I had to guess they probably won't properly clear the place of the bed bug problem because they didn't seem to care much at all.
Cool atmosphere, staff works very hard to help everyone. Simple rooms and beds. Air-con is very nice.
Great location and friendly staff. Ideal plave for solo or group backpackers. Comes with a free breakfast too!
Great place to stay right in the downtown of LP. Tony and his team help with local tours and travels booking. The included breakfast is good and tea and coffee are complimentary. WiFi is good. The facilities are smart except the AC which is not too good and the place has little to no ventilation. Still recommended for budget travellers.
Tony Central is the best!! Tony and Tomas are great guys, always willing to help out, or just have a chat!! They are so good at organising tours, I made friends in the hostel who I wanted to go to the Kuang Si waterfall with, and when I asked Tony how to arrange a tuk tuk for all of us he did one betterorganising a private mini van with A.C. for the same price!! Central location too, and easy to meet people in the restaurant areadelicious free breakfastyou will love your stay here!!
Central location and ideal place to stay solo or with a group. Smart decor, quality showers, very clean and well-sized rooms, with each bunk having its own private power point and free WiFi included. There is free breakfast daily, options include beef/chicken noodle soup, and eggs or jam on toast, all with fresh fruit. Tony and his friendly team provide helpful travel service/advice on where to go next or during your stay. Highly recommended.
Tony tony tony. What a great guy! Loved this place so much. Free brekkie in the morning (if you book online for cheaper, this may not be the case). You can book tours through him, order food downstairs at his restaurant whenever, the bathrooms are all brand new and exceptionally clean as well as the rooms. Obviously the location is amazing. there's free lockers downstairs to use! And a place to fill up water as well.
Only problem I had was I couldn't stay another night when I came back to LP cause it was fully booked :( HIGHLY recommend though!
Great hostel!
Tony is always friendly and helpful!
First choice in Luang Prabang :)
Tony central hostel is the best out of all the hostels ive stayed in . The owner tony speaks fluent english and very helpful . From arranging transport from airport to kuangsi falls to my transport to vang vieng was handled by him . Also his price for these transport were the lowest compared to other available options .
Free breakfast provided and option varies from scrambled eggs too beef noodle .
I was leaving early to vang vieng around 6am , he took the effort to prepare us breakfast amd even helped us deliver postcards .
If you are looking for a place to stay , you should consider staying here . He is genuinely a good and helpful person .
I stayed in Luang Prabang in several places, at Tony's I enjoyed the most. Incredible clean place - beds, toilets and showers, which seem to be new. Every bed has a "private" plugs to charge the devices. Really nice breakfast is usually included (depends where you book). The hostel is perfect located on night market street, but you won't hear any noises at night. And besides - Tony is a very friendly person, who will help you to arrange a bus, to get to the airport or just gives hints what to do in Luang Prabang. Highly recommended!
Everething is good. No lockers. The internet is not stable
Clean place, superb location (2 steps from the night market), the owner is really nice and breakfast included. Could not find a better value for money.
