  Accommodation is okay, bathrooms a little dirty. You stay for the hospitality/friendliness of your hosts and the environment. It's become a staple of the thakhek loop. I recommend booking online ahead of time as they are likely to fill up if you arrive late!

  Nice food and drinks. Best staff I met in Thakhek. And also a wonderful view on the Mekong. (The owner offerd us a free ride to the bus station!)

  Professional service, cozy place and good location. The burger was decent, they used good quality ingredients but the beef patty was dry and over cooked. Not a fan of them using French baguette instead of regular bunnot the right shape. As the location is right next to the river, there are many flies and bugs around - not sure if the restaurant can be blamed for this though.

  Good food for a reasonable price. We tried the fried rice and the spaghetti. Both dishes could be made vegetarian and were quite tasty. Staff is very friendly.

  The food, drinks and service here is great, the portions are big and the views of the mekong are nice. The owner was having a celebratory meal at the same time as us and gave us some food to try out for free , along with getting his sister to take us back to our hostel for free too. All with no hesitation. Great hospitality. Would recommend to any travellers in the area.

  Awesome meal riverside of Thakhek. Reasonably priced. Some of the best food I've had in Laos. Owner even drove us across town back to our guesthouse after the meal!

  A good inexpensive restaurant along the riverfront in Thakhek which serves a reasonable standard of western food. Also a nice spot to chill out with a Beer Lao in the early evening.

  Ce restaurant-bar est un lieu de passage pour les backpackers. Il est le meilleur endroit à Thakhek pour se détendre et manger un délicieux plat à bon prix. Le personel est très gentil.

  This place is absolutely amazing! The rooms are nice, and it looks really cool. In the evening there is a camp fire and a good BBQ. Everyone is sitting there, so it's really nice to meet people or just relax. The people there are also really friendly.
