  After visiting many bungallows on Don Set, Rivergarden had the cleanest in my price range, by far. Even the cheapest ones (not available online but by walk-in or direct booking). In particular, many cheap bungallows on Don Det smell bad due to humidity, it's not the case there.
  The view from the terrace is one of the best on the island (view on the bridge!). You can spend full days sitting there enjoying the view, the WiFi and the constant breeze (I sure did!).
  You're close to the bridge so it's the ideal location for bicycle trips to any of the islands (crossing the bridge is free since 2018).
  The restaurant is clean and the prices are some of the lowest on the island.
  The owner is honest, knowledgeable and always helpful. If you arrange your onward transportation with him, he will whenever possible include pick up by boat directly at his private pier. The trip to the mainland in the morning light was totally awesome and felt like a private cruise.
  Be aware that the property is not close to the pier, you'll have to walk a good 30 mn or take a tuk tuk. Worth it! (If you have a backpack, just hire a bicycle for 10.000 kip at the pier).

  Nice basic huts for a good price. 50,000 kip a night. Friendly family running the place and good food at reasonable prices. Nice view in a peaceful area.
  Downside is that it is 3.5km from the boat landing site and other bars restaurants. Also nearly a km to the nearest place to rent a bike.

  Nice huts to stay in, price was reduced to $11 as no hot water. Restaurant was good and great to relax in. Minus stars for no WiFi in rooms of after 9:30pm and also the walls are very thin and we heard the people next door talking all night and then snoring.

  Wir waren sehr zufrieden mit unserem Aufenthalt. Schöner Blick auf den Fluss, saubere Zimmer, sehr sehr gutes Essen und noch dazu sehr günstig. Wir haben vor Ort gerade mal 6$ pro Nacht gezahlt. Das Preis- Leistungs- Verhältnis ist unschlagbar. Der Eigentümer spricht gutes Englisch und ist sehr freundlich.

  We we're there last November, and we liked it so much we stayed a week! The owner is friendly, the restaurant is good and the bungalows have really good prices.

  Le propriétaire est très gentil, les plats sont confectionnés avec des produits frais et sont fait maison, les bungalows sont simples et propres.
