Better than other options but was not clean at all. Bathroom door was rotting and held closed with string. Cheap 60000 kip for double but like I said filthy.

Good choice for the ultra budget backpacker with prices starting at 30000 kip for a room with a ceiling fan and double bed (as far as I know, that's a lot less than with the competition, starting at 800000 kip). No Wi-Fi, but mobile data is super cheap and pretty fast (30000 kip for 1.7GB 4G starter pack). Free water and towels. Decent cleanliness.
