  This place is a highly venerated by both local Laos as well as their fellow Lao people across the Mekong in North East Thailand. There is a temple which was built around an ancient Buddha Footprints stone carving. Also further up this hill can be found an entrance of a hole said to be that of the Naga that exits the other end along the banks of the Mekong. One can experience some kind of energy pressure same like diving under water just by standing near the large sandstone slope on the way up to the Naga hole.

  Golf course next to Bankeun, narrow fairways, small green pitcher, nice for practice. Good restaurants. Expensive green fees.
