Great value for money! Fast wifi, clean rooms, nice staff!
The room was absolutely filthy. There was trash in the bedroom and lots of black mold in the bathroom. Worst of all there was a condom on the toilet handle. Also the front desk never has anyone there so you have to walk around looking for help when you need it. We booked a "fan room" but it did not have a fan so it was hot and stuffy. When we finally found a staff member we were rudely told we did not need a fan.
New hotel, everything looks great and the service was wonderful
Omg that hotel is weird. Most of the rooms have no windows but the ones to the corridor. Seevice is not too nice, but the price is low, about 10euro. Had a very good sleep though. Holel is one of the biggest in town. Close to the center. You have much better hotels on the other side of the river, but that's Thailand.
Good hotel in Lao standards. May be only one star if you compare in other countries. Best value for money in Laos so far.
I wouldn't recommend this place, the location was quite good, the cleanliness okay, but there was mold in our room and a really thick smell. Had to change room, the next one was better, but the bathroom was always moist and didn't smell good.
Got upgraded to the hotel. Nice big rooms with a hot shower and a ac.
The sheets were not clean.
Ok hotel for onward travel to the slow boat. Nice big comfy bed
Very nice hotel, affordable and a good value - close to the center, very clean, helpful staff, the best WIFI we have had in Laos, bed is the softest we had in Laos (we took an AC room with a view for 3 nights - about 15.5$ per night, fan rooms are cheaper and you don't really need AC). This place is at a good standard.
Clean, Big Rooms, Best in Houay Xay
All the vibe of the Adams's Family hotel. No air conditioning, and damp, musty smell in the room (and yet the decor budget seems to have stretched to an odd assortment of teak furniture in the otherwise deserted lobby). Stained, and potentially damp sheets. Don't inconvenience the guy at the reception desk by coming here - he's more interested in his phone than you, anyway.
Good hotel. Cheap price for a 2 person room eith AC and private bathroom. Bathroom was fine and clean, just don't forget that the whole bathroom will be wet after taking a shower;)
Would not recommend. Yes, it's a hotel, better than a hostel, you get your own aircon and bathroom, but no twin beds, only queens, our door made tons of noise, the towels were dirty, and the shower floods the whole bathroom.
This is a very good value. The room as clean and felt very safe. For the money saved on this room it was worth it being a little further from the Mekong. WiFi does work in the ruins, not just public areas and signal is good. The only downside I experienced was that WiFi internet was down for at least a day. Everything else exceeded expectations.
Relatively dirty and overpriced
Nous avons payé 120 000 kip la nuit. La chambre est propre. Il y a une petite odeur de renfermé dans certaines chambres. Eau, savon, shampoing , brosse à dent, serviettes sont inclus.
Friendly staff with food English. Reasonable price in Lao. We stayed for $15.
Greay value for the money. Clean and tidy.
