I stayed for two days to do my visa. Having a bike was good because there are dogs that bark and chase you on the side streets that connect to the main road at night, and you are more vulnerable as a pedestrian. Savannakhet today has a street dog problem like Vientiane did when I was there 6 years ago. The room was clean and spacious and the staff were very friendly. Well worth 400 Baht.

I didn't dislike it. Lao is a developing country and this is an example pod a clean, inexpensive, basic accommodation without food.
