Negun immigration office

  Went here because we needed to extend our Thai visa for a month . Parked on thai side, walked a km to Laos immigration-office , they were helpful in giving us the forms for a visa . Quickly filled out , paid $35 each (they take US dollars and baht) then we were on our way back to Thailand. We got a free 30 day visa on arrival back on the thai side.

  Just like most of the socialist country the Laos official is not famous for being over helpful. And from time to time the also like to show you who's the authority. Be careful and take care .
