Excellent example of organic farming, amazing coffee and hospitality. Don't miss the plantation tour.

Coffee is fantastic. Be sure to ask for two different kinds (arabica and rubusto, for example) so you can learn to taste the difference. And the tour is fantastic. We learned a ton!

It was so nice and chilled there I stayed the whole afternoon there, did the coffee plantation tour for 15.000 kip, had some really good organic coffee from Mr. Viengs plantation with homemade organic roasted peanuts. He's a really funny guy and told us a lot about coffee and his farm. It was very interesting. You can even stay here the night, which looks really nice, as well.

Amazing place, you can feel the love of Mr Vieng to cofee and warm care of his wife. Good posibility to meet Katu tribe people, have fresh rosted cofee or swing in hand made bamboo hamacks. We loved it!

Wow! This place is so great, so relaxe. I wish they had a room available. (20000kip) they are basic, but perfect. The commune area is just perfect for reading, relaxing. On the loop feom Pakse, you should certainly stop there.

Cycle Touring, spent the night here, 20,000 kip. It’s very basic accommodation but that’s what I like. I loved the place, from the great iced coffees, the coffee plantation tour, and the relaxing snooze in one of the hammocks. Had dinner & breakfast there 15,000 kip per meal. Mr Vieng's daughter even tried to teach me to count to 20 in Laos. If you’re not used to rough or basic accommodation, try it, you might enjoy it. Mr Vieng speaks very good English, and not bad a French also, self taught.

Spent a wonderful afternoon with Mr vieng. He's honest, kind, hard working, and has a passion for his home and work that will leave you inspired. And his English is very good. From the viewpoint of a roaster, to a person who knows nothing about coffee, this man will help you learn anything you want to know. Born into the business, coffee is his life and blood. An experience like this cannot be topped. Avoid the other fancy - pants coffee "resorts" here in the loop, and spend a night and a morning with mister vieng. You won't regret it. From the cup of coffee you will have after arriving on the farm, in the shade of coffee trees, to the smokes and conversations you share after the tour, this was an experience I'll never forget. If your lucky, you might even be able to help him around the farm, or catch him on a roast day.

Man, I can't wait to get back to my roaster!
Thank you Mr. Vieng, for everything! I can't wait to come visit you again!

The experience of a lifetime, in Heaven on earth. 25/10, I was left in awe, will be back, even if it means taking countless busses and scooter rides.

Friendly hospitality and good coffee from a man who knows his beans. Mrs Noi, Mr Vieng's wife, cooks up a mighty fine omelette and you can watch her and the kids weaving when they have a spare moment. I didn't stay overnight but all looks neat and clean and charming.

He is a very smart and friendly Taku, with a great enterprise. Right now is actually as a Laos authentic home-stay experience with great coffee and food. Better hurry before it becomes a touristic highlight and they can't give you as much attention as we got :)
