  Tribute to the first President of Lao from 1975-1991.
  Located near to UXO.
  There is a big square in front of the monument and the garden is relatively small.
  The seats are exposed to the hot sun and there is lack of matured trees here.
  There are hawkers selling drinks and food near the entrance.

  Nice park paying tribute to the country’s first President. It’s away from the touristy parts of town so it does not get a lot of foot traffic, which is quite a treat if you ask me.
  
  I stumbled upon this place on my way to the UXO, a museum that highlights the country’s problems with undetonated explosive weapons that were air-dropped at the height of the Cold War.

  Not much of a landmark during the day, the premices get a bit more animated at night: this is a popular place for locals to go for a cheap late night barbecue on the roadside, just in front of the park entrance.

  Nice place to relax. Many people do exercises here later in the afternoon because there is a nice big area to run and do other activities outdoors.
