Lin's Cafe is an old favourite hangout of travellers coming through Savannakhet, long before it moved to this new location. For many years it seemed to be the un-official tourist information office of the sleepy old colonial era provincial capital city. Last time I was in Savannakhet the new place was still under construction, but I look forward to spending some time with them on my next visit.

Excellent service and atmosphere. Decent food and decent price with tons of options. My "American Breakfast" was a welcome change from the usual "stuff of rice" affair.

Good Lao and Western food. Nice coffee shop also with some nice looking sweet after on offer. Clean and with friendly and efficient service. Situated in the area of old French buildings and near number of nice bars , restaurants and hotel guest houses. Good place for weekend and to include Mind Cafe

Nice place to sit and have a coffee or snack in the old part of town. Get out of the heat and enjoy some A/C.

Excellent! The food is really good and neatly presented. The stuff is polite and very kind, trying to do anything to make the customer happy. The place is very clean and nicely arranged. They went for the french look, fashionable but cosy. They accept baht and dollars.

One of many cafés. The food is decent but expensive compared to the prevalence of cheap Street food. I do recommend the lassi fruit drinks but pass on the French fries.

Great food, friendly and helpful staff. Located in the night market area, which must be the busiest place in Savannakhet (not that that is saying anything)

Probably, the best cousine here. Not cheap (in Savannakhet prices), but very nice. Tasty , clean, staff, menu - everything good
