  You must pay illegal fees to be let through; You have to pay for a bus to be able to cross. Very unsatisfied.

  They changed me 1 dollar or 10.000 kip because it was Sunday At least this time they don't changed for the stamp as the border with Cambodia

  เสีย ฝั่งไทย ทำบัตร 35/คน ค่าด่าน 10/คน ค่ารถไปกลับ 50/คน ตม ลาว 10/คน+ 90/คน ไปถึงยังไม่ทันทำไร ค่ารถไปตลาดห้วยทราย 4 คน 800 ลดเหลือ 700 เลยไม่ไปดีกว่า

  Situé sur le nouvel axe routier après le nouveau pont reliant la Thaïlande au Laos, très moderne, office immigration, agréable pour faire les visas et divers, service de Bus pour le passage du pont de la Thaïlande au Laos , hôtels et casino à proximité.

  その昔は汚い小屋でした。
  豊かになってきました。
  ラオスは北朝鮮と友好国であり、唯一それ以上の兄弟関係国です。
  もっとも強い関係です。不思議ですね。
  さあ南下して鼻炎ﾁｬﾝへ向かいます。
  山岳部の村々はモノクロの世界でした。
  新幹線はないので未舗装地道をエアコン無し、窓オープンのバスです。
  補助席は丸椅子。何度も転倒します。
  すなほこりが、ガンです。
  エゲツナイ車内の視界50ｃｍなり。
  サハラの砂塵の数倍きつい。
  目鼻耳口がじぇりじぇり。
  それが何時間も。
  荒行です。
  終点で放心状態です。
  お試しあれ。

  They charged us 10 000 kip to stamp us out of Laos because it was after 4pm.. we argued for a while, but in the end paid.. seems like curruption to me. You also need to pay 10 000 kip for the bus to cross the friendship bridge. You can exchange any leftover kip for baht at the desk that you buy the bus tickets for not a bad exchange rate.

  DO NOT USE MONEY EXHANGE ATM (Laos side), only use the red atm. Tried to take out money, it didn't give me any, and then authorized the transactions later. It says Lao Development Bank, but it must be compromised.
