Greatttttttttt food
A pleasant but not particularly memorable meal at L'Adresse - the execution was mostly good, though there were some oddities in the dishes that just didn't work. The goat's cheese pastries were more like stingily-filled spring rolls, the cassoulet lacked the richness and comfort you'd normally expect and it came complete with a strange foam on top. Given the price and reputation, the dishes here need to be elevated somewhat!
Perfect place
The large prawn dish is SUBLIME.
Surprisingly bland. It's not hard to make tuna and salmon taste good, but somehow there was almost no flavor sensations at all. For the mini portion of the tuna I expected extra flavor or something special, but not so. None of the additions to the plates added much of anything, no matter the combination. The sauerkraut under the salmon just left a tight feeling in my stomach. The cheese plate was good, but I don't think the restaurant made those. I feel bad giving a negative review because the service was good and I suspect the owners care. Maybe other dishes are better.
This restaurant serves excellent French food with Asian influnces. Trust Chief Guiomar to choose dishes for you. You will not be disappointed. Good service and reasonable prices. I eat all my meals here when I have business in Vientiane.
Worth it with great service and delicious full course.
If you would like French cuisine, you have to visit this place.
I like desserts in this restaurant.
Food was surperb, service was excellent. Wasnt expecting to spend so much on food in Laos but I got what I paid for, then had trouble leaving after being offered the complimentary after dinner finishers.
