Amazing! The waterfall is way better than the photos. It's such an amazing and relaxing place. Of course it's packed with tourists so make sure you arrive very early if you want to avoid the crowds. Plus, it's deftnetly worth rent a bike and go there riding.

The waterfall is really serene and nice.. I enjoyed my time there very much. I didn't spend much time in the water though coz the rocks were slippery. It was cool to soak in the water though.

It is breathtaking! I definitely recommend to take a swim but make sure you stay in the swim area. The water wasn't that cold either. Go up to the top to enjoy it to the fullest. Unfortunately it gets very crowded. Less in the morning though, so I recommend to go early. Also, try to be environmental friendly. not sure how long the place will stay as nice if everyone keeps leaving the trash in the nature. Entrance fee is 20.000 kip. If you book a tour you usually get 1h30 there and its enough time to do it all; walk around, take pictures, swim and enjoy the walk to the top.

Bring towels, swimsuits, and food for a relaxed day. Only T-shirts and tank tops are sold inside the fall. Photographers, Go early if you want good pictures without the crowd. The crowds usually come after 1pm. Food and souvenir markets are at the entry gate.

The place is better than the Luang Prabang.:)

Getting there:
- Bike for the enjoyment. And more flexibility. Good and easy road for any driver.
- Shared van, taxi for the cheaper price.
- Private car for the comfort.
Around 1h by any transportation.

Time to visit:
- Rainy season is better.
- Blue sky, sunny day. Is preferable.
- Come as early as possible.
- Starting from 11am a lot of people.

Prices:
- 20K entrance fee.
- 2K parking.

Facilities:
- Toilets, dressing rooms at the waterfall.
- Some simple drinks and eat at the waterfall.
- All type of shops, restaurants, services at the village near the entrance.

Swimming:
- Cold water.
- Few places to jump (but check the water before by yourself).

Additional info:
- Going to the top is easy. For elders can take more time, but doable.
- There is a middle level. Accessible by "no entry" signs. Before 9am no security to kick you out.:)

Great place for a half-day trip. You can get there by motorbike, car or a minivan with a tour (usually 30000-50000 keep per person). The parking for the motorbike is 2000 keep, for a car it may be a bit more. The toilets at the parking are paid, but inside of the waterfall park they are free. Before you enter the waterfalls area, you will go through many shops with snacks and souvenirs. There are also several restaurants. Some of them have free wifi. The entry to the waterfall park area is 20000 keep per person and it is money worth spent. To only walk around the whole place you will need 1 hour, but count with more time to take pictures and if you want to swim. The nature and waterfalls are stunning and at the very beginning there is a bear sanctuary. To go above the waterfalls, it is a short, but quite steep and slippery jungle walk. I have seen two restaurants in the area (one at the beginning with wifi and one above the falls), two places where you can change cloth before and after swimming, toilets, picnic areas and recycling bins. Very much recommended.

Very beautiful place! You can see Lao bears as well near the waterfall (since there is a project to save the bears) . The entrance fee is very affordable (20000 kips or just over 2 $) and there are changing rooms and toilets inside. You can swim in selected places. Probably one of the best waterfalls in Laos. Highly recommended even if it gets easily crowded with tourists

Crazy busy after 11 but stunning waterfall. Rescue bear centre also cool. Ended up spending most of the day here after doing the long hike to the caves at the top of the waterfall. Good place to eat and relax there where its not so busy

Great place where you can spend all day. Unfortunately it's far out of town and hard to get to in some ways. The cheapest way is shared van, but once they get you out there they leave only and hour or two later. The bear sanctuary is also awesome, please donate! It's awesome what they are doing.

We had a truly mesmerising experience at Kuang Si waterfalls, where every step we took blew us away. My mother, who had weak knees had some difficulty at times but thought the experience was worth it overall because of the views! The water was blue (which fun fact, is because it runs through limestone) and breathtakingly beautiful and the best part is you can swim in certain areas, so make sure to pack your bathers/swimming costume and a towel because you don't want to miss that!

Stunning! Great photo opportunities and lovely stroll up to the main waterfall. Recommend seeing the bear sanctuary first and then going to the waterfalls. Change rooms are available to swim (but some male tourists use the change rooms as toilets, so WEAR SHOES). Water is freezing but delightful and you will have fish nibble at your feet if you stand still (which ended my swim abruptly). Great experience overall! Be sure to stop at the Laos Buffalo Dairy Farm on the way to or from the Waterfalls (try the cheese and ice cream from buffalo milk)!

Love the scenery here! Perfect for a quick swim as well as picnic. There're benches around for you to sit and have your meal by the waterfall. There's also 2 trails, one for you to climb up and the other to go down. There's also designated areas for you to swim. Waters are real fresh and cooling. Should you want to swim, remember to bring your towel, slippers, swim wear, clothes to change back to and a bottle to contain water to rinse your feet off the soil after the swim. Beautiful place to be in.

Beautiful sight. Flooded with tourists. And with amazing views too of cuz. Tourist buses probably will be able to bring you to near the foot of the falls. Trek all the way up. The view at the top will be worth it. But the climb will be steep. And strenuous.

Definitely worth a visit. Didn't expect to enjoy this as much as I did. Bring swimmers. There are changing rooms. It's worth having a dip in the refreshing blue waters. Beware of uneven sharp rocks especially around the edges of the pool.

There's a bear sanctuary that you would walk past to get to the waterfall. There were a couple of cute, very playful cubs. It was nice to see them having fun.

Just around the entrance area to waterfalls / bear sanctuary are some local shops. The banana chips there are good!
