I found a 김삿갓(kimsakgak) restaurant where I wanted to take to Korean transitional food to my foreign friends.

More than I thought it was served quantities of main dishes, many kinds of side dishes and taste of the “ Damn soooo good!!!”

I’m so grateful to my friends and appreciate to the restaurant owner.

It seems expensive when you see the menu, but they give you so many appetizer for free that is very good value in the end. Nice food, nice service!

Having read good reviews about this place, I convinced my friends to try the Korean food for a change, after takng Lao and French dishes for so many days. I ordered Pork Ribs set (barbequed pork ribs and Doenjang Jjigae), Pork Bacon grilled, Kimchi Jjigae and 2 Dolsot Bibimbap. Two set of 10 side dishes came first and they were so delicious that we finished some dishes before the main courses arrived. Upon request, the staff brought refills with smiles.
The main courses didn't take too long to arrive and they were fantastic. My friends said this was the best Korean dishes they had ever eaten, even better than some Korean restaurants they went in Korea.
Ripe mango was a complimentary desserts. When we finished it and asked for second, the staff brought it instantly.
To make it better, the bill was rather cheap. The owner came to see us off when we left and we thanked him for a great meal.

One of the best KR food that I have ever had during my overseas traveling. Free pick up service is provided by the restaurant owner upon request. Friendly staffs, reasonable price, various types of delicious KR food. My husband and I had 3 different menus and one bottle of Soju (KR traditional alcohol) and cost 230k kips.

🙏Wonderful owner (Feel free to ask for transportation call as city transfer or airport transfer; 50000kips for 2 people in our case from this restuarant to the airport ;)

It's located a bit far from the downtown but the restaurant was very clean and tasted good. You have many choices of Korean foods you will like. If you order a vegetable mixed rice , you'll get one Korean soup. The foods were VERY good.

Definitely the place to go in Luang Prabang if you want Korean food. Clean and professional with a good menu selection. It may be a little far from the tourist hub of town but worth the effort.

OMG!!! I really enjoyed classical Korean BBQ and it was the best of the best I’ve ever had in LPG. Water and some side dishes are offered free of charge. Well air-conditioned is a plus. Good location, warm staff… everything was excellent quality. Last but not least, it’s healthy Korean food! A hidden gem in LPG!
